Invader Zim

Been drawing like crazy lately! Also been watching Invader Zim recently so you can guess why I drew this picture  

IZ has always been one of my favourite Nicktoons, even though I was pretty young when it came out lol. Zim is by far my favourite character from the show, there's just something about him I love. I genuinely want him to win and take over the world, but where would be the fun in that if it all went to plan hahah.

Drawing Zim went pretty smoothly, I've been sketching him lately so it wasn't that hard to do. The shape of his head always throws me off though. It's so oddly shaped (in a good way) so it can make it a bit difficult to translate him into my style. But hey, I did it. I also didn't realise this, but a lot of the time when he talks/has his mouth open, his tongue is always out. I wonder if that would've been annoying to animate constantly lol.

Even though I'd fucking love for Nickelodeon to bring it back, I'm glad it's made a reappearance in some form: the comic book. I may have to pick it up at some point.
